In this work, I explore our relationship with the pharmaceutical industry and the interdependency we have with it. The synthesisation of plants to chemicals and the lack of questions we ask about what we ingest, aroused by my curiosity to explore this subject more.
Using the site of West Dean's gardens, one of the glasshouses was subverted and turned into a laboratory to illustrate the contrast of organic and synthetic, magnifying and prompting further thought on this topic.
